ALCAZABA AND ARAB WALL

The castle is the most important remnant of the Muslim civilization preserved in the centre of Marbella. Located in the historic centre, it consists of two speakers, both of which are square shape. Its construction involved various materials and construction methods. Roman capitals are observed in one of the towers and other materials as claveaux invoice claveaux. Dating back to the th and th centuries, the walls were punctuated by a dozen towers. After the surrender of the city in 1485, the fortress served as a place of control until the end of the war in 1492 and will then serve to monitor the coast.
