GARE ROUTIÈRE
Read moreIt is the main bus station of the island, where most of the traffic is concentrated. It is lined with small Creole-style kiosks where street vendors sell snacks and handicrafts. From 5:30am, buses leave to serve the main corners of the island, at relatively regular times but rarely later than 6pm. Practical advice: for hiking, it can be interesting to be dropped off by bus in the heights, for example at Mont Lubin, and then to go back down to the coast by foot
