Black River Gorges Point of View offers a superb panorama of the Black River Gorges to the ocean

The first, Alexander Falls, is marked at the entrance to a trail that leads off the main road. From the promontory, from which the view extends south to the sea and Jacotet Bay, a small waterfall can be seen. A few kilometres further on, at the Black River Gorges Point of View, a superb panorama embraces the Black River Gorges as far as the ocean, the Rampart mountain in the south-west and the sugar estate of Medina - park in the car park and walk 100 metres. On the right-hand side you can see a beautiful waterfall. Monkeys are numerous and not very shy
