Leong San See, literally "Dragon Mountain Temple", is one of Singapore's oldest Buddhist temples. Built using traditional Chinese techniques, it boasts curved tile roofs, majestic dragons and colorful ornamentation. Restored several times, it retains a soothing atmosphere. Guan Yin, goddess of compassion, is worshipped here with a thousand arms outstretched towards the faithful. Although originally Buddhist, this spiritual place also attracts Taoists and Confucians. The multitude of statues is well worth a visit.
