I had the pleasure of taking three of Jane’s tours during my time in Singapore. I would highly recommend all of the tours for anyone who is hoping to gain greater and deeper insight into the history, culture, architecture and artistry of Singapore. The Classic to Ultra-modern tour, which I took with Bibi, was an ideal introduction to Singapore (do this one first!) with a focus on how Singapore’s confluence of cultures has influenced its architecture and artistry. The Orchard Road Stories and Emerald Hill tour, which I took with Tricia, and the Joo Chiat & The Peranakans tour, which I took with Swee Lin, were both also excellent, with a focus on how areas that were formerly plantations and farms have evolved into some of Singapore’s most sought after areas. These tours also both provided great insight into Peranakan culture, architecture and artistry.

I enjoyed my tour of the Emerald Hill district with Shanti very much.
Shanti explained the origins of the Peranakan and made this history come to life with interesting anecdotes therefore personalising the experience. This is my third tour with Jane’s tours and I am always impressed by the professionalism of the whole process from booking to the guides’ knowledge of their material.

We had the pleasure of touring Singapore and parts of Malaysia with Jane for a few days in November 2023, and it was an extraordinarily unique, 5-star experience. I couldn’t recommend Jane’s SG Tours enough! From start to finish, every moment of the tour was meticulously planned & executed, showcasing the best of Singapore’s attractions. Due to Jane’s unmatched passion and knowledge of Singapore’s rich history and culture, we learned a tremendous amount while having an overall fantastic time. Additionally, we visited areas and attractions that one simply wouldn’t find on any other tour, or online search. This left us with a truly unique experience where we were able to get fully immersed in the local atmosphere. In conclusion, my experience with Jane’s SG Tours exceeded all expectations. Jane not only acquainted us with the best sights of Singapore, but did so in a way that felt personalized, diverse and authentic. Jane’s tours all around Singapore were exceptional. Jane’s knowledge of Singapore’s history, flora and fauna, architecture, art and culture is astounding. Jane’s personal style is energetic and lively and the guided tours are totally engaging. Also tailor made to suit your tastes and interests. Could not recommend more highly!!

With Accueil Singapour (French association), we had chance to enjoy a “Black&White houses” tour with Jane’s Singapore Tours (Shanti our guide in french). It was an amazing experience. Shanti explained the history, the reason, the architect … everything about these houses. It’s fascinating!!!

We asked the specific architectural tour requiring entrance permit in the morning, and they arranged a fully customized tour with an experienced guide just in a few hours!

AN AMAZING MORNING WITH BIBI! We began walking in Chinatown where BIBI provided an overview of the history of area as we visited temples and converted warehouses along what was once waterfront. BIBI made it all interesting and digestible, not too much or too little time in each spot. She listened to my questions and quickly assessed my interests, pivoting our tour to include broader Singapore historic and architectural locations. It was a great day out. I highly recommend BIBI for her professionalism, liveliness, and breadth of knowledge- first rate!

We went on Jane's WW II tour on our last day. Wow...what a great experience! I am embarrassed about how little I understood about Singapore's role in the war, but not any longer. We visited the Former Ford Factory, now an excellent museum and site of the surrender of Singapore on 15 Feb 1942, then to the Kranji War Cemetery, the Changi Museum and Chapel, which describes the interment there during the Japanese occupation of Singapore and a stop at Changi Beach, site of one of the Sook Ching massacres. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore and will definitely seek out another experience with Jane on our next visit. Thank you Jane and team!

Highly recommend Chinatown tour with Elaine. Interesting, engaging, and dynamic. Learned a lot about the history of the area as well as modern life. Walk from telok Ayer up anne Siang hill over to Chinatown hawker center for a delicious and educational experience, entertaining for both residents and tourists.
