Opened in 2002, Esplanade Theatres on the Bay is one of Singapore's cultural landmarks. Its two triangular-panelled domes, known as "Durians", house a concert hall, a large theater and several intimate spaces, including the Waterfront Theatre, inaugurated in 2022. Located on the edge of Marina Bay, the surrounding promenade is ideal for admiring the bay, while the Esplanade Mall features several restaurants, some with terraces and water views.
