This human-scale shopping center, renamed i12 Katong in 2011, has revitalized Singapore's east end by welcoming new retailers. There's a good choice of restaurants, including Din Tai Fung for dim sum and Italian delicatessen Da Paolo. Clothing stores, a pharmacy, a supermarket and beauty services complete the offer. The mall also houses massage and hairdressing salons, as well as manicure and beauty salons. On the upper floor, a children's water playground adds a family touch. Easily accessible, it makes for a pleasant stopover.
