Taman Negara Park has many natural swimming pools. Lubuk Simpson is the easiest to reach just 15 minutes walk from the park entrance. Upstream from the Sungai Tahan River, it can also be reached by boat in less than 10 minutes, an option often chosen by the many tourists who visit it. The water is clear, except after the rain because the freshly fallen water stirs up the reddish minerals that stagnate at the bottom of the river bed. Be careful, strong currents are likely to draw you into the river flow.

From the park entrance you are there in 15 minutes.
Good for all to tell you was a little surprised by the colour of the water not really transparent (I would say even dark brown!). However, after the " glass roof walk" we could not it longer this stifling heat. Finally, it was just a large happiness " for a plouf". And then that tranquillity: was only nature for 2 hours.
