CHINESE HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Chinese Heritage Museum will give you an excellent overview of the different waves of immigrants who came to find a better future in Nanyang, on the Johor Bahru side. Numerous photos and well-maintained period artifacts make for an exciting visit. We learn that the Cantonese imported their carpentry skills, that the Hakkas specialized in traditional medicine, or that those from Hainan made coffee shops teem. These trends are still alive throughout the country.
