Its hour of glory has passed, but it is always a great hotel, well located for tourists, with rooms with beautiful views and various restaurants, including a turning point on the 15 ^th floor, unique in Penang. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Good value for money for comfortable rooms with TV and fridge. The adjoining restaurant serves honest cuisine: Malay and Western dishes in a pub decor.

From the outside, an elegant and elegant address that recalls vaguely the Victorian era, whose buildings dating back to 1926 have been beautifully converted. Inside, comfortable rooms that are quite impersonal. A good compromise, affordable rates and friendly staff. A little eccentric, however.

Near the tower Komtar, a hotel without great charm, but with standard comfort with TV and necessary for tea and coffee. The hotel also has a swimming pool.

Adjacent to the Waldorf Hotel, this former colonial villa with a lobby that does not end and a beautiful white facade in columns resembles a very modest E & O of 80 years old. The air-conditioned rooms have Roman bathrooms. Staff is not avare with good advice for travellers.

A large Chinese house with a nice inner courtyard. The rooms are spacious, although tired. The Mexican restaurant on the ground floor is an appointment for guests in the evening. The reception is very friendly and overlooks the rooms'summary side.

Despite its name, it is not at Batu Ferringhi Beach, but a little before, at the foot of a hill, facing Miami Beach. A footbridge crosses the road that separates it from the beach. The picture of its swimming pool in the middle of a tropical garden illustrates almost every tourist magazine. The rooms are of very medium quality but the many services are even a discotheque: Sapphire. The hotel can make good discounts for groups passing through a travel agency.

Founded in 1885, it was for many years the meeting place of Penang's English community and is still one of Georgetown's finest hotels. Over the years, it has been extended with a new wing, but with full respect for the architecture of the original wing. It now boasts 222 magnificent suites, two swimming pools, restaurants and a bar. A free shuttle bus takes you several times a day to the Lone Pine Hotel, its little brother in Batu Ferringhi.

This establishment is very popular with visitors to the city. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Pejabat Maritim bus stop, which offers connections to the Upside Down Museum. Rooms feature balconies, sitting areas and desks. Bathrooms feature a separate toilet and shower. The hotel is close to many places of interest, including Penang Little India, Menara Komtar Complex and the Camera Museum. A delicious breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant, and there are also many restaurants nearby. Hotel facilities include a library and barbecues. Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out until 12:00 am. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and parking.

A small retreat from the Georgetown Tourist Centre, close to the Burmese and Thai temples, these suites with old charm will delight the lovers of old stones and historic heritage. The neoclassical building where the two suites are located really has a lot of stamp. Some finishes in the interior are outstanding, but the price ratio remains excellent.

An old-fashioned hotel like the tarnished purple facade, but the rooms are well-appointed and do well for a few nights. Its neighbour, White House hotel, is rather popular but has an equivalent standard.

Often full for only 7 rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Furthermore, a very good coffee awaits you on the ground floor. Inconvenience, the location is pretty noisy.

A hotel with a total length of four floors and a specialty: Italian cuisine. It is also possible to rent bungalows on the beach (more expensive!).
