This former club of Ipoh iron mine owners also served as an opium smokehouse, brothel and gambling circle. You enter through the dining room, behind which is a museum depicting the activity of an iron mine. Upstairs, the benches and pillows of opium smokers, the games room, the bedrooms as well as some maps that illuminate the origins of Chinese migrants. The visit is very interesting even if the guide is sometimes difficult to understand. The museum being managed by an association, a donation is welcome.
