The museum features an ever-expanding collection of live specimens of tarantulas, matutous and other beauties. The impressive butterfly collection includes rare specimens. In addition to insects endemic to French Guiana, you can see Amerindian pottery, stamped bricks from the four corners of French Guiana and, last but not least, blown bottles found on gold-panning sites (the oldest dates back to the 17th century). A word of advice: arrive early, as tours fill up fast. And this is an astonishing visit, not to be missed!

Très belle collection, présentée par Philippe, un passionné, qui sait nous transmettre avec un vif intérêt sa fascination pour ces nombreuses espèces d'insectes, papillons..et si vous voulez voir des matoutous de près, c'est l'occasion!! A ne pas manquer!

Les collections, les araignées vivantes, la serre aux papillons,... Un musée / museum étonnant, créé et présenté par un passionné, installé au milieu du village hmong isolé de Cacao, par ailleurs bien intéressant...

Absolutely fabulous.
The guide which is also the founder of the museum is true passionate insects and animals. Listening to, even for want to him to go to chase the butterfly with scoop.
Nature lovers, if you are passing through Cocoa (and even if it is not the case; D), it is really a place not to be missed!
Only the people who have insects horror will not because you is it really " immergé" in their world (with clean direction and illustrated direction).
