Le Saint Jean offers two accommodation options: rooms or hammocks. There are three simple double rooms - with early-morning light streaming in through the wooden shutters - with shared sanitary facilities, and a ventilated gîte with a capacity of six hammocks. Le Saint-Jean is also a restaurant (closed Sunday evenings and Mondays) serving local specialties - the renowned cochon-bois or other local fish such as jamais-goûté or acoupa), much appreciated by the locals. An authentic address with a beautiful view of the river!

Cochon de bois fameux.
On sort de table en ayant plus faim.
Par contre pensez à réserver ou vous n'aurez pas le droit à la belle vue sur le fleuve

Diner le vendredi 5 janvier entre adultes et enfants. Très bon accueil, le cadre est vraiment très sympa et aéré, pas bruyant, une serveuse aux petits soins, le "jamais gouter" était parfait et ses accompagnements aussi. Le reste de la carte a su combler du plus petit au plus grand. Service rapide et sans fausse note. Je me motive pour faire un avis quand ça le mérite, et là c'est mérité. Pour info nous y sommes repassés pour sandwichs et burgers le dimanche midi avant de repartir à cayenne et c'était tout aussi bien mené
