SOUTHERN MOST POINT

The southernmost point of the Maldives has been developed by a private company run by the Maldives Army. It includes toilets, an observation tower, a national flag and an esplanade to take your selfie facing the immensity of the Indian Ocean. Located on the other side of the airport area, on the military base, you must be accompanied to get there. You will have to pass through a first checkpoint to enter the airstrip, go around it, then pass through a second checkpoint to enter the military base.
