COMO COCOA ISLAND

Paradise… the small island of Cocoa that is about 45 mn by boat from Malé is a magical place to completely disconnect. Some thirty houses are accessible from pontoons, because the originality of this island is that the dwellings are all on pilgrimage and are the form of traditional Indian Ocean boats (dhoni). The Dhoni Suites are a true, sober and chic apartment with a terrace (deck, table, armchairs and parasol) overlooking the lagoon and with direct access by a small stole of steps to turquoise waters. From here you can reach the coral barrier where hundreds of tropical fish await you for a wonderful snorkeling. The common areas (reception, restaurant, bar) are distributed on the island (around 15 mn). At one end there is a large swimming pool and the other end the Shambala beach ends with a long white sand ribbon which is discovered according to the tides: a dream landscape, ideal for romantic ballads with the transparent waters of the lagoon and the turquoise blue of the ocean… On this side there is also the great balneotherapy area to finish the day before enjoying the delicious specialties of the restaurant. Candlelight dinner alone on the beach for a special occasion. Various activities are offered (fishing, diving to see turtles or dolphins, etc.) This island is small, there are few people and apart from the time of meals where the guests find themselves, we really feel like being alone in the world. The homes even if they are close are designed in such a way that there are no screws and privacy is complete. One regret: Time passes too fast in this corner of paradise and there is no desire to leave it… because it will be difficult to find better!
