RHYNER’S RECORD SHOP

The island's oldest record store, established in 1938 by Hilton Rhyner and run until his death in 1981, was located at 54 Prince Street in the heart of Port of Spain, but the record and CD collection in question is now available online or at the international airport, so duty-free! It's the Hilton daughters who are trying to preserve their father's priceless collection, while at the same time selling part of it to raise funds. This store is really well stocked with calypso records from the 1940s-50s and soca.
