Escuela del Mar (EDM) was created by Luis Bertone, an Argentinean surfer who has been living in Bocas del Toro for many years. Lessons are given daily during the season, from November to April, and again in July; the rest of the year the schedule is dependent on the weather and storms, just plan the program with the team. All levels are welcome. Beginners will be perfectly taken care of and accompanied to the waves by boat. The instructors are well known and the atmosphere is sporty and friendly.
