This is an important element of the military architecture. It was built by King Tiéba, anxious to have an overview on Sikasso so as not to be surprised by the enemy. A pyramid form and a height of 30 m, it now serves as a show stage and has a gallery of thousand places. From the Nipple, we have a very beautiful view of the large market.

Le site de petit patrimoine du Mamelon n'a rien de très exceptionnel et a été clairement sur-restauré sans rapport avec l'état historique avant sa destruction par les forces militaires françaises. Il s'agit néanmoins d'un point reposant qui offre un beau point de vue sur la ville de Sikasso du haut de la tour (à noter : on y monte par une échelle). À essayer pour un coucher de soleil ?
