Kita is a very nice town. It is located in the middle of the mandinkas mountains, in an agricultural area (food crops, cotton). The city is not really attractive, but can serve as a base camp for a hike in the surrounding hills, until the sacred summit of Kita Kourou (617 m) or for a visit of Fina Reserve, the national park of the Baoulé and the Bafing Reserve.
