This deep river passes through a hilly region, making it more attractive than the river Niger. The canoe traversed at sunset is particularly beautiful.

Come to the limit of the Khasso district, stay along the river. You're going over a little marigot. From Kayes, Bamako management, via Kita, there is a small track (road Kita- Bamako construction). I was bike and I had mall has to pass, but I saw 3 cars 4x4 Spaniards, so it is possible.
And along the Senegal river by the road- track, you arrive falls Bafoulabé.

And it is imposing! The Les Espagnols 4x4 camped nearby night; I have them.
One of the most beautiful landscapes of West Mali!
The BAFOULABE falls are impressive. Long on several metres. The walk to swim, wash its linen, refresh.
