Many concerts, theatre pieces, puppet shows, art exhibitions, photography, painting, take place. There is also a library and cinema. Visitors can come and enjoy a drink and read recent Malian and French newspapers. A programme is published every month. Initiations and computer animation are available at the library's multimedia workshop.
On the ground floor of the CCF, a Mali K 7 shop offers a wide range of Malian music (it is better to buy the Cds in this place rather than on the street, because Mali K 7 prints copyright to artists). You can know about culture in Mali and know the news of the CCF by logging in to its very complete site. You can take a pot on the Patio. A concert is scheduled on Thursday evenings.

Musique et culture
Très dynamique, le centre culturel français de Bamako propose des projections cinéma, des lectures de contes, une bibliothèque multimédia ou d'incroyable concerts live. Si vous avez la chance de voir un artiste dans le patio, vous serez au plus proche de l'invité: figurez-vous un lieu espace carré composé de tables pour déguster votre plat sur un coin, d'un bar faisant l'angle et d'une scène musicale en face. Votre sens du rythme vous amènera peut-être à vous défouler au sein de l'espace central invité par le chanteur ou ses danseurs. Si vous êtes dans l'autre espace, vous serez plus loin de la scène mais la centaine de places assises disponibles ne devrait pas vous empêcher d'accompagner du pied le groupe en concert. Le point clef de la programmation est autant la diversité (musique amazigh, de Kayes, de Gao) que dans les espaces d'accueil qui incitent au partage.
