CITADEL OF SAFED

Once located at the top of the hill, there is nothing left, or very little, of the important cave of the crusaders that dominated Safed in the th century. It was badly damaged during the last earthquake that shook the city in 1837, then dismembered by the inhabitants who used its materials to rebuild homes. So we will only come here to have a beautiful view of the city.
