Allenby Bridge is the main border crossing between Israel and Jordan. From Amman, it can be reached by cab or shared cab from Tabarbour station. An exit tax of 10 DJ is charged. From Allenby, a shuttle bus will take you to the Israeli post. Waiting times can be long, and it's best to arrive well before the border crossing closes, especially as opening times are subject to change without notice.
