The old town of Nablus, al-qasabah, is a labyrinth of lively streets. In the souk, on the merchants'stalls, they mix fruits, vegetables, pastries and all of the trinkets artillery, colourful fabrics and electronic instruments… The kids run in the streets, with the backdrop, the emmaillés walls of martyrs'posters. Although badly damaged by the Israeli army, the old town still houses many historic buildings. In the skies of Nablus, there are no less than thirty minarets of which one of the most impressive belongs to Al-Nasr Mosque.
