BIRZEIT UNIVERSITY

Birzeit (Bir Zayt) University, founded in 1924, is the largest university in the West Bank. It is home to over 14,700 students (figures for 2022-2023), on a campus covering 80 hectares. Over 60% of students are women. It's obviously the best place to meet Palestinian students. You can also take Arabic courses here. Birzeit University is also home to the Birzeit University Museum, with its splendid collections of Palestinian folklore (amulets and textiles) and contemporary art.
