GARE FERROVIAIRE

The Acre City Railway Station (Ako in Hebrew) is located in the new city, as is the bus station nearby. You will have to take a bus or a taxi to get to the old town. Otherwise, it's about a 20-minute walk. When it's not too hot the walk is pleasant. Walk along Herzl Street to the sea. From Tel Aviv, a direct train every hour takes you there in about an hour and a half. From Haifa, in half an hour. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or online.
