HAIFA UNIVERSITY

Located on Mount Carmel, on the edge of Carmel National Park, Haifa University was founded in 1963. It welcomes approximately 13,000 students and offers them undergraduate and graduate studies in the humanities and social sciences, education, law, science and science education. It is mainly visited for the Reuben and Edith Hecht Archeological Museum. There is also an exhibition of works of art. To see: the view of Haifa from the Eshkol Tower, in the main university building.
