BOTANIC GARDEN OF EILAT

Located on the northern edge of the city, the botanical garden includes an organic farm. It features rare plants of all origins, waterfalls, signposted paths and several rest areas. One of its treasures is a 1,250-year-old palm tree, recently discovered near Masada. The farm offers a variety of plants, herbs, pots and garden furniture for sale, some of them handmade. Guided tours are available. A very pleasant, perfectly landscaped site, which at times resembles a veritable tropical forest.
