RED CANYON

The Red Canyon is the setting for one of the most beautiful marked trails in the Eilat Mountains National Park. If you're travelling by car, drive to the parking lot via the track (or park before if the ground is too sandy). From the parking lot, it's a further 1 km walk to the interesting part of the canyon. The trail is marked in green, blue and black. The green route takes no more than 1 hour round trip. It passes at the bottom of narrow gorges where you can find shade for most of the day.
