The Promenade des Remparts offers exceptional scenery both inside and outside the city walls. It comprises 2 separate routes totalling 3.6 km. The southern walk starts at the Tower of David and ends at the Garbage Gate, a distance of 1.2 km; the northern walk starts at the Jaffa Gate and ends at the Damascus Gate, a distance of 2.4 km (closed on Fridays). These routes are signposted and include directions to the surrounding sites. It is possible to leave the itineraries along the way, but not to return to them later.

Promenade des remparts par la porte de jaffa......le tableau est affligeant! J'ai signalé à un policier merci de faire de même si vous voyez cette pauvre bête dans les mêmes conditions (quartier chrétien). Merci à tous les amis des animaux d'agir

prenez de bonne chaussure, car c'est assez long et il y a des marches par milliers, mais la ballade est exceptionnelle. des vues magnifiques sur les toits de jérusalem à la découverte de ses secrets. Un pont de vue qui permet de voir a ville autrement.
