The "Little Wailing Wall", also known as the Kotel HaKatan, is the continuation of the larger part of the Kotel. It is located in a little-frequented area of the Muslim Quarter, near the Iron Gate. Only 5 or 6 meters long, it is enclosed in a small open-air perimeter among the neighboring dwellings. It is also a place of prayer, and many small pieces of paper are slipped into its interstices.
