Founded in 1984 by the Palestinian theatre company El-Hakawati, the PNT is now managed by a board of directors composed of artists, writers and notables of the Palestinian community. This theatre not only exhibits exhibits in Arabic and English and folklore shows, but also organizes conferences and exhibitions. It is one of the main centres for promoting Palestinian culture in the country.
