On the road to Saint-Louis, on the left after Rao, a locality famous for its market, follow the signs to reach Guélakh, a village of nomadic, settled Fulani. Today, they produce a delicious sheep's cheese that they sell to practically all the hotels in the region. A stopover is then necessary in this traditional village made up simply of straw huts. The visit is guided by the villagers themselves who will not fail to show you the cheese factory, the gardens and the women's school. The track to get there is good and offers a magnificent panorama of the red dunes that stretch to Lompoul.
