Shopping, while watching craftsmen at work, is the particularity of the craft villages. The one in Saint-Louis hosts about thirty stands. Woodcarvers, dressmakers, jewellers, manufacturers of recycled objects, weaving ... You can visit Mouhamed Bèye, a very warm craftsman who makes beautiful jewelry in ebony and teak. It is a pity that one feels oppressed at the entrance by a large part of the craftsmen who encourage people to buy, a practice due in large part to the lack of tourists in this area.
