Go there and contact
This 175-hectare island is subject to seasonal flooding, and its environment is rich in flora and fauna.
Ten kilometers long and almost four hundred meters wide, it covers three hundred and seventy-five hectares, many of which are classified as nature reserves. The island is subject to seasonal flooding, particularly in spring when the Rhine floods, giving it the opportunity to regenerate its natural environment, which is exceptionally rich in both flora and fauna. Five hundred species of plants, ten or so species of fungi, one hundred and forty species of birds, thirty-nine dragonflies and as many bees and wild wasps have been recorded here!
