It is the oldest city in the lagoon, with colonial style. Its main attraction is the church Sagrado Kristoff de Jesús, built in 1875 and decorated with beautiful stained glass windows. His Torre del Reloj, who has an Arabic inscription, is a replica of mosque. Ciudad Lerdo is also the birthplace of Francisco Sarabia, a pioneer in aviation. At the entrance to the city, a museum displays the plane on which it made the Mexico-New York route without stopover in 1939. It is finally a city renowned for its good ice creams.
