Dominating the city, it was built by the Jesuits in 1880 on a eminence that would be an extinct volcano (Cerro Sombreretillo). This may be true, so the environment resembles a collapsed caldera. The view is great. Behind, stands the wall of the Sierra Madre, reaching the desert in the west. Before, Étend expands. Tiny green spot in the middle of the desert expanse, its oasis situation is clear.
