Imposing building of neoclassical style of the XIX century, designed by the Spanish architect Manuel Tolsa, in Guadalajara.
This imposing 19th century neoclassical building was designed by the Spanish architect Manuel Tolsá and commissioned by Bishop Juan Cruz Ruiz de Cabañas to serve as a home for orphaned children. This impressive architectural labyrinth includes fifty-seven frescoes by José Clemente Orozco, painted on the vaults of the central building. More than three hundred of his creations are on display in the building. This is the perfect time to discover the striking work of the famous muralist.
