Museum dedicated to pre-Hispanic civilizations inhabited by the states of Jalisco, Nayarit and Colima. In the part of the museum that is reserved for temporary exhibitions, are usually presented archaeological parts coming from other regions of the country (the Mayan culture for example), which is interesting to realize the differences and similarities that exist between the different pre-Hispanic civilizations. The museum is housed in a th century convent that belonged to the congregation of the sisters sisters.

A visiter si vous aimez l'archéologie
Encore un musée de la civilisation pré-hispanique présentant de nombreux éléments anciens, objets, avec des explications précises sur l'histoire locale et les sites fouillés. Le musée est un peu grand, peu adapté pour les enfants, il fait un peu vieillot, peu ludique. En revanche les expos temporaires sont intéressantes !
