Museum with rooms that cover prehistory, archaeology and Mexican history.

This museum's eclectic collections stretch across a magnificent eighteenth-century Baroque-style building. You'll find everything from prehistoric mammoths (yes, a real one!) to Mexico's swirling history through to the revolution. Upstairs, the exhibition covers the colonial period, as well as an ethnographic section on the lives of the region's indigenous people. Admire the fine collection of paintings from the 17th to the 20th century, including works by Dr. Atl.

A visiter si vous aimez vraiment l'histoire
Assez précis sur l'histoire locale, permet de comprendre les évolutions ethno et architecturales du secteur.
En revanche un peu vieux au niveau des présentations et textes, il faut s'accrocher pour ne pas décrocher...
Le bâtiment est magnifique !
