The museum is an ongoing celebration of the native genius of the cultures of the Mexican West. Its collection of over 2,000 pieces, one of the most important of its kind, highlights objects created by different subcultures in a rich variety of sculptural shapes for over 3,000 years (of 1,500 BC until the arrival of the Spanish). The opportunity to admire the archeological heritage inherited by the peoples who lived in the territory of the region.
