Museum that offers permanent exhibitions presenting the geography, ecosystems, history and culture of Cozumel.

The Cozumel Island Museum is housed in a historic building dating from the 1930s, which was one of the first hotels on the island. Renovated in 2020, it offers in eleven interactive and modern rooms permanent exhibits presenting the geography, ecosystems, history and culture of Cozumel. A reconstruction of the ocean floor and objects found in galleons sunk by pirates complete the few archaeological pieces presented.
