ADO serves most cities in Mexico. You can easily get to Villahermosa (2 hours) or Chetumal (7 hours), Merida (8 hours) and Tulum (11 hours). To San Cristobal, the journey with ADO via Villahermosa lasts between 10 and 11 hours; shorter with OCC, which goes via Ocosingo. To avoid waiting on the spot (many locals buy their tickets directly at the ticket office), make your reservation in advance, on the company's website or on a reservation site.
