MUSEUM OF MINING HISTORY

This visit is essential to learn more about the mining history of the city. This modest but endearing museum is housed in a beautiful brick and wood building overlooking the town; it was once the headquarters of the El Boleo Company. Everything is period, from the light switches to the fans. The old employee records can still be consulted here, although they are now kept in the old safes. A pleasant trip back in time.
