MUSEO EL LENCERO

Located 12 kilometers from Xalapa, this old hacienda was built on a natural terrace elevation by a soldier of Hernán Cortés; the place had at the time the Mercedes Reales permit, which made it one of the ten posadas for the rest of the travelers circulating between the capital Mexico and the port of Veracruz. You can feel the atmosphere of the past when you walk through the patios and gardens of theAntigua Casona, especially since furniture and instruments from the colonial era are displayed throughout the hacienda.
