This is a pleasant little restaurant that is very bright during the day, serving Mediterranean and/or Mexican cuisine, frank and without superfluous pretensions. Its small dishes have been delighting the palates of Xalapa for a good ten years already (the place opened in 2008), without any loss of quality or creativity. Every day, between 2pm and 5pm, a daily menu is offered at a very attractive price. Interesting if you don't mind eating out of order! Nice decor for one of the best tables in the region.

This is a very good restaurant, with several locations in the area (all equally popular). The place specializes in grilled meats, ideal for lovers of juicy and tender meats. There are plenty of options: arracheras, picanha de las favelas, tacos, cecina, burgers and a black bean cheese dish. The restaurant itself doesn't have much charm, the atmosphere is mostly casual and you go there with your family. A great classic though, for the quality of the meats.

Good option to eat or take a breakfast with a nice panoramic view over the volcano that dominates Xalapa.
