Ideal spot for beginner surfers, offering the rental of a deckchair for a few hours in Puerto Escondido
At the very end of Zicatela beach is Punta Zicatela, which you can reach by collective taxis that you catch on the coastal road (or by taxi for the lazy). It is a quieter beach, ideal for beginner surfers. The area has developed quite a bit in the last few years and has somewhat lost its "end of the world" feel. You can rent a deckchair for a few hours and sip cocktails. Nevertheless, it remains the most exotic option in Puerto for accommodation. As far as creative gastronomy is concerned, it's not bad at all either.
