Theater that perfectly embodies the prototype of the building of the Porfirian era in Oaxaca

Built in 1904, this theatre is a perfect example of the prototype building of the Porfirian era, from Beaux-Arts to Louis XV style. The hall is as magnificent as the programming is excellent, the best in the city in terms of performing arts. To find out what events are scheduled, check Twitter or Facebook. The theatre is named after Madeconio de Alcalá, one of the greatest Mexican violinists and pianists.
