East of Michoacán, on the border with Mexico City, you can see this impressive monarch butterfly sanctuary. Every year, around October 28, there are a few hundred million butterflies that reproduce before beginning, around mid-April, to the United States and southern Canada. The effect is particularly spectacular when they cover whole trees of their flamboyant orange dress. When there are all around you, papillant in every direction, you feel like you are in heaven!
