Appointed in honour of the Cuban poet and revolutionary (1853-1895), this museum is devoted to foreign, French and American interventions in particular in Latin America (the expression «intervention» was used by Napoleon III to justify his action).

Casa de Cultura Jesús Reyes Heroles is a cultural centre where different cultural and artistic activities are organised (painting courses, ceramics, photography…) as well as interesting temporary exhibitions. In the interior garden, you can enjoy a bronze sculpture that represents Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, nature.
